Flowers Do Not Fear the Rain

Flowers Do Not Fear the Rain

May teaches flowers
that rain is not punishment —
it is preparation.

May reminds the gardens
that growth can still happen
after long seasons of coldness,
darkness, and storms.

May whispers softly
to the tired hearts,
the anxious minds,
the silently overwhelmed souls:

“You are still growing.”

Not every battle is visible.
Some people bloom quietly
while carrying heavy emotional rain
inside of them.

But flowers do not fear the rain.

They lean into it.
They allow it to nourish their roots,
strengthen their foundation,
and prepare them for brighter days.
And maybe we should too.

Maybe healing is not becoming perfect.
Maybe healing is simply
learning how to keep blooming
through difficult seasons.

This Mental Health Awareness Month,
give yourself grace
for the storms you survived,
the battles you never spoke about,
and the strength it took
to continue growing anyway.

Because even after the rain,
flowers still bloom. 🌸
